WILL COVID-19 MAKE OR BREAK YOU???

WILL COVID-19 BREAK OR MAKE YOU

I remember vividly, it was on a Friday on 20th March 2020, it was my daughter’s birthday when the government ordered the closure of all schools in Lagos state. Immediately, I ensured I stock up my food stuffs not necessarily because of Covid-19 but because of my kids who will be at home. On 26th March 2020, the government announced that all “non-essential” shops and community spaces are to be closed with immediate effect for at least 2 weeks and until further advised. This was how the lockdown all started. From 2weeks it was extended to another 2weeks and so it goes on. Now the big question is, will this pandemic break or make you? No doubt, COVID-19 will be causing lots of setbacks stress for especially physical small businesses and the self-employed, and it is more important now than ever to make sure you are taking necessary steps to support your own mental health as well as your means of income. This is the right time to make your business better. “If you want to be happy, make your future happy.” This is the perfect time to balance your orientation towards the future and staying grounded in the present moment.

This is not time to apportion blame. Rather, it is time to invest in yourself and think outside the box. Before the lockdown I started a 3months saving plans which just got matured today 26th April, 2020. I received an interest of 10% on this investment. Imagine if I didn’t take the plunge when I did, or I did not plan ahead I would not have received this benefit today. The rich get richer because they take calculated risk but the poor don’t. it is good to save and there are so many applications out there to help you achieve your savings goals.

Do you know you can save 100naira every day or even weekly and still receive additional 8-10% interest per annum? Plan Your Future Now Our future is built today, at this very moment. Thinking in that way will help you put your choices, actions, and habits in the right perspective. Feeling too lazy to wash the dishes? Think about your future. you would probably be happy to walk into the clean kitchen the next morning. Isn’t it? At first, it will seem like an herculean task but in future, you will applaud your action. Just liked I was excited receiving my savings and interest today. The seeds you are planting today will sprout for your future. The seeds you are planting today will sprout for your future.

The mess you make today; your future will have to clean. Everything you do now is an investment in the life and happiness of your future. So what do you want for future you? One way to find out: Recognize the little ways you subconsciously build your future self every day. In the past week, think of the tasks you've undertaken to set yourself up for success. Maybe it was starting a genuine investment plan, achieving what you never thought you will achieve.

Recognize how you're already creating future you—then build on it. I remember vividly when I finished building my website www.mnacworld.com.ng I felt so proud of myself. I felt so fulfilled. Look, sometimes you just need to hoot your own horn to feel positive about yourself and your future. Don't get swamped with negativity when you've come so far. I had to disengage myself from toxic relationships. Remember your accomplishments by writing them down and reviewing them. Try to do this once a week or every night before you head to bed. I do this a lot. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you think about everything you want to accomplish. But preferably, you want to break your big dream into small steps, so you don't stress yourself out. You can start with savings with cowrywise or piggyinvest using my referral link. Note: I get paid some amount if you successfully start up a plan.

STAY WELL, STAY SAFE, STAY HOME.
